This fine art print is taken from my original painting on canvas board. Trees are one of my favourite subjects to paint, and one of the things my work is known for. This particular Ash tree caught my eye on a freezing cold and still day as it was the only one left alive at the edge of a field in the Yorkshire Dales where I live. All the others around it had died from Ash die back disease. Hopefully in time there will be new resistant trees planted but it is a symbol of hope when you see a healthy one.
These prints are only available directly from me and are not in galleries.

This print is simply stunning. Colours are vibrant and really transmit the season and time of day. Sue Lawson forcefully brings home the idea of the harmony of the celestial and terrestrial and how they both combine to nourish and produce the beauty of the natural world. We now have seven of Sue's prints and I have no doubt we will add more of her wonderful work. Les.
