This line of trees caught my attention on a walk in The English Lake District. 'Drowsy afternoon light high above Lake Ullswater, Cumbria.' The heat of the afternoon in summer is what I tried to capture here in a view I have walked up and through many times when I have been visiting Pooley Bridge in the Lake District. Walking up the path northern end eastern side of the lake and the oak and beech trees always interest me with the promise of the lake beyond the horizon and the hazy light around them.
