This painting of Sandsend beach in Whitby looking towards Sandsend village on the North Yorkshire Coast is a great place to visit, whatever the weather. Here, it was a very dramatic sky that day and I try to capture the brooding weather you get suddenly at the coast in Northern England. It was one of those days where you wonder if you should take a raincoat or not!

Lovely stormy sea painting! Will need to be professionally framed, as the size/shape will not fit in an off-shelf frame. Not a problem! Just letting others know in case that is important.
