This is an original oil painting of mine of the fields in North Yorkshire. It is quite an abstract painting and I am quite obsessed with patterns in the landscape and love to mix colours. The light and tones of the northern English countryside are quite cool and atmospheric compared with even the south of England. I painted it with oil and and artist's wax.
