The White Horse of Kilburn is a distinctive chalk figure cut into the hillside of the Hambleton Hills near Kilburn, Sutton Bank Thirsk. I live close by and I really loved painting this view as like most people I find these huge hill features fascinating and exciting to spot. It can be seen for miles along the Vale of York.
